From Installer to End User: We Chose Gallagher for Our Own Protection

At Watters Electrical, we have been powering regional Victoria and southern New South Wales since 1957. With over 250 local staff across Albury, Shepparton and Wangaratta, we take pride in being one of the region’s largest electrical contractors – delivering everything from solar and renewables to commercial, industrial and security solutions.

Recently, we brought that same expertise home. After experiencing several overnight break-ins at our Shepparton site, we decided to take action and strengthen our own security. Having worked with Gallagher Security on countless projects, we knew their technology would provide the reliability and protection we needed.

Securing Our Shepparton Site

We installed a fully integrated Gallagher system, including:

• Monitored Pulse Fence – a proactive deterrent that instantly alerts us to any breach attempts.
• Electric Gates with Access Control – improving safety and convenience for our team.
• Gallagher Controllers and Bluetooth Credentials – delivering flexible access management.
• Intruder Detection Systems – providing full coverage across our offices and sheds.

Everything is managed through Gallagher’s Command Centre, allowing us to monitor, control and report from one central platform.

Installed by Our Own Team

As a Gallagher Certified Channel Partner, we carried out the installation ourselves. This project not only improved our site security but also gave our team hands-on training with the Gallagher system.

Our new system has transformed the way we manage site security. We can now see in real time which sheds are secured, receive alerts for any potential breaches and reduce false alarms thanks to Gallagher’s intelligent monitoring.

“The system is smart enough to tell the difference between a real threat and something like a possum or strong wind,” Cameron explains. “It’s user-friendly and a great demo site for showing our customers the Gallagher solutions.”
